Queenie Comics is an Adult (+18 Only!) (mostly) black and white, 4-panel, slice of life Webcomic series starring Queenie, Alice, their pet, Kitty, and all of their friends.
The story is a loose telling of day-to-day living, romantic moments during the mundane, cartoonish antics, and microtales of change, conflict, and growth (with a touch of horniness and some drug use).
The story is written with a Queer, adult audience in mind, and experiences are inspired by a life living with multiple forms of neurodivergence (adhd, Autism, and more). Furthermore, since a majority of the characters are based on me, it is assumed that nearly most of these characters have experiences as trans women of color.
Queenie, Alice, and their friends live in a world both familiar yet different to our own. Global facism never completely took hold in this world's history, so it is a reimagination of our own world where world wars, greed, and paranoia never happened to the scale that they exist in our own. As a result, the world Queenie lives in is a more fair, technologically advanced, and joyful world than how we come to understand it. That does not mean it is without its deeper and more mysterious qualities, but in this world, what we would consider "first world problems" are an "everyone problem" at this point in their history. The mundane now features more moments of drama, love, intensity, and stresses because everyone's basic needs in this society are met.
The first season covers an introduction to the characters, the kinds of stories and things they get into, and a peek into a sweet, queer, relationship between two goofballs. They also have lots of fun with their friends and learn more about each other along the way.
This series originally had a 36 episode release on a 3-comic per day schedule for 6 days, followed by a daily comic posted for 6 days. the original series has over 100 episodes!
The second season, Above the Treeline, continues to show the regular livings of queenie and alice, with a psychedelic twist: A strange dream followed by an unusual experience with a hallucinogenic lichen show Queenie and Alice that their world may not be as simple as it appears!
This series had a bi-weekly posting schedule and 30+ episodes. Some comics feature color, and the main story arc is in full color!
AFter the events of the second season, It is revealed to Queenie and Alice that the strange dreams they have been having, and the visions they had during their trip on the lucid Lichen, were more than just a kaleidoscope of hallucinations... Their dreams were preparing them for one of the biggest events of their lives: A cosmic event known only as "the merge".
There is something calm about thIS dream world, and kitty is here, too... but something feels off. IT feels like everything is going to change forever...
This series is a work in progress and will be distinguished from the first and second seasons. This will be a graphic novel style Comic in mostly black and white, and will feature the complete story in the novel.

The third season takes place a year or so before the events of the merge and follows the rest of Queenie's friend group who lives in the heart of daisy city. This series storytelling will also be done differently from Seasons 1 and 2, but instead of a web comic, season 3 will be an animatic with vocalizations. A short web film featuring Dana dog, and all of her friends (new and newer), making things work in the big city.

Daisy city is a sprawling urban center near the coastline of a swampy peninsula. It is known as an "isolate" because it is one of the few cities that doesn't connect to the larger urban sprawl. The area Daisy City is located in is highly swampy, full of woodsy trees and plants, and is known for mostly sunny, hot, humid weather. Despite the high density of daisy city, there are plenty of green areas throughout the city and many protected wetlands that people can visit.
Daisy city is known for having one of the first high speed rails installed for intercity uses. The urban area itself is quite massive, but smaller compared to its nearest neighbors, however the city itself covers many municipalities and stretches beyond several hundred km2. The high speed rail system, however, makes this distance trivial for regular commute, and traveling from the greatest distances across the entire srpawl only takes about 20 minutes at most (non holidays).
For those who prefer to live in the swampier areas, the outskirts is also a popular area for people to live a quieter life but still have access to all the goods in the city. Season 1 starts just a few months after Queenie and Alice move into their new place in the outskirts.
The forests and swamps in the outskirts of daisy city are known for their great abundance of fruit, rare wildlife, and a plethora of biting and stinging insects. It is not for the faint of heart, and most people residing in Daisy City prefer the comforts of the city life. However, for those most devout in living away from the buzz of the city, the swamps provide a sanctuary of beautiful night skies, serene views, and amazing encounters with nature.
Daisy university is the closest thing to a "governing body" in daisy city. Most policies centering around city planning and urban development is held by the public at the university. In Queenie and Alice's world, most municipalities have a library, college, or education center where these things happen, and while power is not completely centralized on these structures, these places of academia and education often become the busiest hubs in that city, providing education, labor, and resources to the greater public.
A lot of Queenie's friends work for daisy university in some capacity, and it is a large campus with many opportunities for growth, art, and science, and like all education in this world. It's completely free.

The events of the merge leave queenie, Alice, and their friends to adjust to the "new normal" of their lives. A resigned fate for them all, but a story of recovery from the trauma of loss, a love for community, and a new, budding romance will help shine a light for the ones who are still with us.
